This interview with red-hot Irish boxing prospect Dee Walsh was published on Niall Doran’s Boxing Blog which is one of the many outlets we contribute to.
Dee Walsh produced a boxing masterclass on Saturday evening to repel the threat of Poland’s Adam Grabiec over four rounds. Fight week is now upon us and there is a growing tsunami of atmosphere building up towards showtime at the New Devenish Complex in Finaghy Road North, Belfast. The entire nine-fight card has been confirmed and will feature most of the country’s finest young professional boxers all looking to impress the Belfast fight fans and critics.
Belfast banger Dee Walsh has discovered a new enthusiasm for boxing. Any doubts over his commitment to the sport, following a lengthy layoff, were dispelled in double-quick time as the 24-year-old bombed out fellow unbeaten Krisztian Duka in the Devenish on May 10. Dee has signed up with Mark Dunlop and believes that he is now on the road to fulfilling his vast potential.
On Saturday, March 8 super-featherweight prospect Daniel ‘Insane’ McShane enjoyed a welcome run-out in Kecskemet, Hungary. The 20-year-old recorded his eighth professional victory, returning home with a solid points win over Ignac Kassai in a four-rounder.
